My daughter is natural & chose to get long box braids with pink & purple color as a protective style; it took hardly no time and is affordable. My name is Joyce……I’m from Chicago this is the first shop I’ve been to down south in Memphis…The stylist answered my calls every time…..SHE WAS NEVER RUDE…..The stylist was before the scheduled time …..professional….nice……very very very neat…..and kept it real when it came to what hairstyle was best for my look….Very fast service…..clean grade A establishment…..and the price was fare and honest….I WILL RETURN!!! First time visiting and the lady that did my hair didn’t seem very friendly. My hair was braided so tight, I had a throbbing headache to the point I wanted to take them all out when I got home. I can barely turn my head and I can feel wrinkles in my scalp from the tension. That is definitely damaging to the hair and can cause traction alopecia. The stylist never handed me a mirror to see the back, never asked if I liked it, didn’t tell me her name, didn’t give me a card to come back…nothing . I do like the style but the customer service here is horrible. I will say the shop is clean.

I have been going to Bijou Braids for a lot of years now. I am a constantly returning customer. She does a great job always on my braids. My hair last along time and my hair always look fresh daily. Bijou is very knowledgeable about the hair. Bijou also sell hair products such as hair serum, mega growth, and Shea Butter. I have been using her products for over a month and I see growth and strengthening of my hair. I recommend Bijou over any other braider. She is very professional and works very fast. She is always polite. You should try Bijou and you will be glad you did.

I’ve been coming here for over a year and the service is amazing. The owner (BeBe) also has oil (which she made) that helps your hair to grow and be healthy. My hair has grown so much due to BeBe and her products. You should try her service and products and I bet you won’t be disappointed.

The staff wasn’t on time, the girl took all day doing my hair and to top it off my hair hasn’t been up 3 weeks and my braids are falling out everyday since I got it done.
