Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went for a consultation on Friday, showed one of my locs to see if I was able to get braids over my locs, I was told I would be able to I made my Appointment the next day. I spent $45.00 on the hair I was instructed to get. When I arrived my locs were clean and visible, one lady was complaining she had a client and pretty much she was not suppose to do my hair, and more things in French on the phone to the owner. Now some of my locs are different size and I think by the conversation the lady had mention that. I’m thinking it’s not a problem, you’re a professional and you should be able to work with my hair. There was another girl who did the back of my hair she was nicer however I didn’t have a mirror to see the back or the middle of my hair at the end. DISASTER! I had locs sticking out some braids were all different sizes some braids had 4-5 locs I’m one braid. Not to mention the braiding hair was so heavy my neck was hurting. I called and text them they instructed me to take the hair out come back and they will fix it. Not to mention I paid 160.00 also the owner came in as they were installing the braids and also seen my locs. Any who. I came in and it was a whole different story. The owner was saying I was going to have to pay 180.00 while the girls that did the hair said I couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to get anything. Remind you it’s COVID-19 everyone isn’t working their full hours at work or some people aren’t working, I’m one of those people. Not to mention I was also going to Texas with my family (driving with three children) so my money was very tight. The owner was saying more money for a style and to buy the hair. I never asked for a refund because I wanted my hair done not my money back. And the owner never said anything about giving me my money ( sad) however the girls that did my hair asked the owner to give me my money back. She ended up giving me half but I left with my locs all over my head and still sore from taking the big braids out. I will never go back there it was awful. I spent $45.00 on the hair I was instructed to get.
