I have visited this location multiple times and have had multiple barbers during my visits and have never been let down. I usually get a head shave and a beard trim and often times I have taken my son with me to get his haircut as well. My wife even joined us once for an eyebrow wax.

I just got a razor shave beard trim from Paul, and I am absolutely impressed! He was very personable and engaged in conversation. He listened to exactly what I wanted for a style and he executed with precision and neatness. Let me tell you, the compliments from my girlfriend don’t lie! Paul is one of the best barbers I’ve come across. Friendly and professional, his skills were superb and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants an amazing look for a relatively inexpensive price. I haven’t gotten a haircut in a few months because finding the right person is difficult sometimes. I had an appointment with Kim and she did an awesome job. I got my hair cut as soon as I moved back to Tennessee, but the person who cut it ended up taking too much off at a certain point. Kim listened to my concerns and is helping me fix the mistake of the last person who cut it. She was great for holding a conversation but also great with the clippers. While I’ll be trusting her to rectify the mistake with my hair that wasn’t her fault, I’m also looking forward to the next visit because of how great she was, how great the rest of the staff seemed, how professional they all were, as well as how clean and tidy Baron’s was.

I’ve always maintained my own beard because I never trusted anyone to go near it, but I let my beard get unprofessional and unruly. Stefanya was amazing listening to what I wanted and executing with precision, attention to detail, and care, going longer than scheduled past closing time to make sure I was satisfied. I just got done getting my beard done by Elmer at the downtown location. Absolutely amazing, I asked him to do a quick clean at the bottom and straighten out the sides. He went above and beyond. Before I didn’t know if I should wear a beard, but now I am absolutely loving my beard. He is my go to guy for now on!

I took my brother to the germantown location and we had an appointment with Paul. We were sitting there and I noticed he kept staring at us while he was cutting another customer’s hair. After he finished the previous customer’s hair he went to the back room and did not come back out. Turns out he had sent the receptionist a message to tell us that he would not cut my brother’s hair because he had eczema. What he didn’t know (because he would not come out from the back until we left) is that my brother has an extremely rare genetic disorder, and one of the many side effects that come along with it is eczema. I would like to point out that eczema is NOT contagious and that my brother cannot do anything about his condition. The second we left the building, guess who came back out. Yep! It was Paul. I will say though that the receptionist was extremely nice and super sensitive about the subject. I definitely do not blame her for what Paul made her do. And, I will also say from past experiences that the other barbers are super nice and do a great job. I will definitely go back, just not to Paul at the Germantown location.

This was the best mens hair cut salon i have been to in Memphis. I finally found a place where i can go without the fear of messing up my hair style. Very nice people. I defenitely recommend this place to everyone. A bit pricey, but u get what you pay for. Amazing service.
