Philippe and Krista, the owners, are skilled not only at cuts and color, respectively, but also at creating a great client experience. Michelle and April also have the same talents. Lovely fun people who are so good at what they do, who will make your hair look so gorgeous that when you walk out of the salon, passers by will ask you where you get your hair done. Salon Bisoux provides consistently excellent service and results. Philippe and Krista, the owners, are skilled not only at cuts and color, respectively, but also at creating a great client experience. Michelle and April also have the same talents. I normally don’t write reviews but when I saw that I wanted to let everyone reading this know that I have been going to Salon Bisoux for years and have never had a bad experience. What happened to that bride does not represent the true reputation of this Salon and its owners. Salon Bisoux is one of the most reliable and customer-service orientated businesses I go to. I drive all the way from the Fairfax area to Del Ray just because of how pleased I am with this salon. Krista is an amazing colorist and Philippe is such a talented stylist. They own the business and take pride in ensuring every client leaves satisfied. I know they are so upset about what happened to that bride and I feel terrible for the bride – it shouldn’t have happened. But please know that experience does not represent how truly amazing Salon Bisoux is to their staff and clients. I normally don’t write reviews but when I saw that I wanted to let everyone reading this know that I have been going to Salon Bisoux for years and have never had a bad experience. I love this Salon!!! The Staff is so professional and friendly! The salon is So Clean and takes extreme precaution during the current pandemic. You definitely feel very safe and don’t have to worry about anything. Krista , Greta and April are all tops with color! Philippe, Valerie, Michelle and Jacob are awesome for hair cutting! Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy stylist stood me up on my wedding day!I rarely leave reviews, but this was unacceptable. I drove 45 minutes to my hair appointment the morning of my wedding but the stylist never showed up. I booked the appointment months in advance on a Sunday (they are usually not open but connected me with Valerie and guaranteed she would be there). I confirmed the week of the wedding and confirmed a second time two days before my appointment to ensure everything was good to go. I drove 45 minutes and waited for over a half hour before I drove back home extremely disappointed and frustrated. My bridesmaids had to pick up a a blow dryer, bobby pins, etc from a grocery store to try to do my hair. It ended up mediocre at best on the most photographed day of my life…The owner of the salon called me the day after to apologize and said she was unaware of the appointment despite my multiple confirmations.
