I’ve had good experiences however I would appreciate all stylists were comfortable with working with black hair. On more than one occasion I have booked an appointment with the earliest available stylist only to be passed over to another stylist (who was serving another client) because my original stylist did not know how to style (or even wash) my hair. The second stylist ended up bouncing between multiple clients and my appointment extended an extra hour. I understand stylists vary in terms of experience but it should not take advanced training to do a blow out on curly hair. Or this should be a competency taught to all stylists at a salon that seems to specialize in styling curly hair. It also seems inappropriate to charge $30+ more for a silk press vs a blow out or style. I asked for a style once and was charged for a silk press I assume because I have curly hair.

I had Lwam as my stylist and she gave me one of the best curly hair cuts I have ever gotten. I normally don’t like going to the salon since I am very tender headed but my split ends were not letting me live . Lwam was so gentle and professional, I was able to have a whole conversation with her and forget that I was supposed to be in pain. The salon is decorated beautifully and every one in there seemed positive and happy to be there. Great vibes, better hair, couldn’t ask for a better salon experience after years and years. My neck is little sore from swishing my new bouncy curls around so much but I think that is an offense I can forgive. 15/10 would recommend

Jana is amazing! Always a great time when I’m in her chair. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to coloring. She’s done tape ins and color for me and she always done a wonderful job. I was hesitant to post simply because I know she will get more busy and I want easy access appointments to her. LOL. Honestly, you won’t be disappointed. Very happy with my experience every time.

The only place I come to in the dmv. Cruz is the best stylist. Super sweet and professional! She always makes me feel like a million bucks. The salon is nice, quiet and very clean. Love that it’s never too busy and that I never have to wait. 5 stars for sure.

Everything about this salon is so cute, very esthetically pleasing!! Lwam’s hands are magical, she understands the assignment every single time. She walks you through the whole process prior to starting, and updates you along the way. I have had very bad luck in the past, but I finally have found a salon and hairstylist that I love.
