I can’t say enough good things about Lindsey and her unique salon, House of Hair. The atmosphere is relaxed, but special. A converted old home, it’s unlike anything else in Jamestown. You never feel like just another haircut in a line of many. There are no distractions. No obnoxious fluorescent lights. Just a chair and a great mirror surrounded by restored old floors and the charm of a fireplace. It somehow manages to feel like hanging out at your best friend’s house while maintaining an air of professionalism.

Lindsey does a fabulous job at providing quality hair and makeup services! Her salon is welcoming, professional and comfortable. She goes above and beyond to make her clients feel happy and beautiful. She provided hair and makeup for several young ladies attending prom at Anne Carlsen and they were so happy with the results. She thought of everything to make their experience a pleasant one. Most hair stylists don’t take the time for people with disabilities and often give up. Not Lindsey. Her patience, kindness and professionalism never faltered. She is amazing!!

I can’t say enough about Lindsey, House of Hair, and the girls behind the reception desk! The atmosphere is welcoming and serene; I immediately feel at home as soon as I walk through the door. Lindsey goes above and beyond to please her clients. She is the most down-to-earth hairstylist I’ve ever been to and I feel 100% comfortable sitting in her chair. She has been my hairstylist for quite some time and as my taste and style changes, she knows exactly what I am asking for and makes sure I’m happy with my hair. So we had an appointment at 1500 and ended up being 15-20 minutes late. Brittney the hairstylist was super friendly and didn’t mind that we were late at all. She was very professional and fun to talk to. The service was great, my haircut was done to perfection, beard trimming was done quick and spot-on, even my eyebrow waxing was quick and painless. Not to mention that the price was great. I even got the added luxury of watching my wife have her eyebrows done, while she was worried it would really hurt she was fortunate enough to be wrong and said it hardly hurt. Great experience. Highly recommend .
