Took my daughter and both of my son’s to Mancave Grooming. They did a great job on one of my son’s hair cut. My kids also liked that they got to eat popcorn and get free juice drinks or pop.

If I could give zero stars that would be a more accurate review of the experience my sons ages 5 and 7 years old and I had to endure. If you risk your image by actually getting your haircut at this establishment, I would highly recommend that you do not book with Olivia K. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:30 am. We arrived 15 minutes early and checked in. There were 2 other customers that showed and were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our scheduled time (10:30 am) came and passed. 10:45 I ask the female at the desk when we can expect to be seen. It’s not easy to keep a 5 and 7 year old boys still for very long. She had to call Olivia K from her cell phone that she had a difficult time looking away from while working, to inform her that she had customers waiting. Her and another female coworker came walking from the Classic Rock Coffee Shop next door. Another 10 minutes of conversation at the front desk we were finally called for our appointments. She barely considered what style I was asking for before she didn’t even respond to me and began cutting my sons hair. 5 minutes later she was completed and had my other son in the chair. My youngest sons hair is very thick and requires extra attention as I attempted to inform her. All she did was zero fade the sides and never touched the top at all. 5 more minutes and he was all done. A single haircut is $25.00. I paid $34.00 for a 10 minute haircut on two boys. Almost double what a single customer paid for 10 minutes of service. My wife had to fix their bangs because they were cut at so many different lengths and so uneven we couldn’t style it. And the top crown of his head (the first kid) has definitive miscut lines that will have to grow out. Hair wash was never offered and we weren’t offered our complimentary juice boxes either. I own my own business and I definitely don’t pay employees to play on their phones while on the clock, especially the ones behind the desk that are the first and lasting impression on your business. And I definitely don’t pay personnel to leave and get coffee until their scheduled break. Customer service is the utmost importance to a successful business.

Knew it was a long shot to get a haircut appointment same day but thought I’d give them a chance after reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed. The style I asked for was not followed, given it might be similar but not what I asked for. I have never had a haircut that quick or how the stylist cut it. It pretty much felt like she was winging it. Will not be back and definitely not worth the money paid, honestly could have done what I got myself at home. Hopefully, I’ll be able to find someone to correct it.

If you are looking for a place that serves $30 beers and jacks up your hair this is the place for you. I had scheduled an apt and spent more time waiting than my haircut took. Even after instructing the “barber” how I wanted my hair cut they proceeded to do things their way. After the “completion” of my cut in about 7 min and a few more directions I gave up and just wanted to get the H*** out of there. I then had to spend money at another establishment to complete my cut as many parts were missed. Only giving one star because there is not a lesser option. Was a cool place and great environment but maybe there should be a screening process and a few test cuts before hiring anyone who walks in the door asking for a job.

The owner had been my stylist for over a year, and I love her. She does such a great job and I trust her judgment.

Simply put. Terrible. I have been to this salon twice, and I did not have a good experience. I cannot speak for everyone because there are multiple stylists, and I have seen people come out with great haircuts; however, my most recent stylist was horrible. I, along with plenty of others, go to a salon not only for a good haircut but to relax. At this salon, I did not have either. First, I simply described the haircut I wanted, an executive contour, in simple details because my stylist was unfamiliar with it; however, she proclaimed that “she didn’t have time for it.” After clarifying several times how I wanted my sides blended with a fade, my stylist still manages to destroy them by taking the same razer around my whole head which I could have easily done myself. Secondly, I asked that she texturize the top portion of my hair without cutting too much length in addition to creating a hard part; nevertheless, she cuts about all my length off to the point where I can barely style it. She did the hard part correctly, but it does not look great with what she already messed up. Next, my stylist washed my hair. I thought to myself, “things should not get anymore worse,” but I was wrong. My stylist begins to shampoo my hair with scolding, not an exaggeration, and I tell her it is a little too hot. She uses a similar temperature of water for conditioning, but I decide to not complain about it. Now, she is towel drying my hair, but instead of being gentle, she destroys my forehead with the towel while drying my hair causing even further irritation to my skin from the scolding water. At the end, I had an uneven cut in addition to hair on my shoes and in my clothes that I couldn’t do much about until I got home. I would not recommend this salon to people. If you are a guy looking for a good haircut/new stylist, schedule an appointment with Cody Werbelow at Escape on Third Salon, and I think you will have a much, much better time than I did at this salon. He is patient, very knowledgable about hair care, great conversationalist, gives fantastic scalp massages when washing your hair, and plenty of other admirable attributes. I did the same haircut that I asked from this salon’s stylist with Cody before, and he did an amazing job not knowing what an executive contour was. The funny thing is that the time Cody and my stylist at this salon spent cutting my hair was very identical, but the final product was incontrovertibly better by Cody. I never have been the complaining type, but my experience at this salon really bummed me out and affected my Saturday in which I was hoping to enjoy the entirety of.

Had to ask my sons hair stylist to take him back after she finished the first time. His side’s were very uneven. I wasn’t pleased, we will be staying with Savoy Fogin themorning for all cuts and styles in the future

I’ve been in several times to get a hair tattoo done. The first was a butterfly and I adored it sky even colored it in for me. The second was an EKG line and I love it as well.

Great environment! My son’s haircuts have been awesome (Megan M.) and men’s haircuts, beard trims, and eyebrows have all been great too (various stylists).
