My curly girlies, listen up! Sue has got you covered. It is so hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut textured hair. This was my first time going to Sue and I was extremely impressed. I really felt like she understood the desired look I was going for and made sure to check in through the process and listened to make sure I was happy with the end result. Sue did a tremendous great job with my hair! I LOVE LOVE how my hair looks now. I’m picky and typically like my highlight to look grayish, and she explained what she could do and how it would look. She also was flexible with my appointment and cut my hair even though it wasn’t booked. She’s the best! If you are thinking about it, GO for it!

She is the most talented, patient, honest, kind, and all around best hair stylist I’ve ever had (why I have let no one touch my hair but her, even when living overseas!). Sue started out as a hair stylist to me, but over the years has become a close friend and someone I consider family. She treats everyone with a smile, is so outgoing and will help you get your hair to your goals and dreams, without sacrificing your hair health. She’s honest and won’t do something to anyone’s hair if it will damage it. I think that’s one of her best qualities. She’s got amazing products, the BEST salon. During Covid, and still now, she followed all protocols to keep her space clean and sanitized, and I never once was worried when businesses started opening up. I have been a client of Sue’s for over 10 years and she is easily the best stylist I have ever had. I found Sue after relocating to NoVa from Seattle, WA in 2009 and searching far and wide for a colorist who could give me the natural color and highlights that I wanted. From my first appointment, Sue listened to what I wanted and consistently delivering amazing hair. I even started carrying her business card in my wallet because so many people would stop me to offer a compliment and find out who did my color. Sue has an innate sense of skill and style that you just don’t find every day. She is also hilarious, down to earth, and easy to communicate with. I would genuinely recommend Sue to anyone!
