I visited for the first time in early May based on the great reviews, but I didn’t have the best experience. I came 10-15 minutes early and was told that they were just about to call me to tell me my stylist would be late that day. They asked me to leave and come back 15 or so minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. So I ended up waiting about 30 minutes since I had come early. I had an appointment with the owner but she was very distracted. A customer had lost a hearing aid, a staff member had a birthday, staffers frequently asked her questions. She had to stop a few times and our conversation was interrupted a lot. She did take a long time to highlight a many pieces of my hair, but at the end of the day the difference in my hair was barely noticeable. See photos below. I think maybe because they had me sit too long with the toner on my hair. I have never sat so long with toner in my hair as I did here. I was at the salon for hours and had a doctor appointment I had to leave for. Unfortunately, I think due to the distractions, after hours I only had my hair died & toned and it hadn’t been dried or cut. I had to leave with wet hair. The salon apologized and dried my hair as much as they could before I had to leave. The owner at first offered to cut my hair the following week. But after I told her I was disappointed because I had weekend plans I was hoping to have my hair done for, she nicely offered for me to come in early the next day and cut my hair them. That was appreciated. But, overall it was not an enjoyable appointment and I felt like my hair color looked pretty similar despite the long time spent dying my hair and the high cost. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueCarissa has been doing my hair since 2017 — I have followed her through three locations and would continue to do so wherever she goes. She has always given me amazing, realistic, input during our consultations, only recommending the services I need. She’s taken me from long to short, red to blonde, and many things in between. She always knows how to get exactly the look that I am going for and use what I have toward what I want (especially when I was going from red to blonde!). Suffice to say, she’s a magician. She’s always super friendly and charming to be around, makes sure that my appointments are running on time, and is honest if what I want to do will take longer than expected. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She’s also amazing about getting back to me if I have a question about anything between our appointments.The hŌm team is also amazing! They have been great with shampoos and blowouts while I’ve been there. They are always so friendly and professional. I particularly love Amy, who is just a joy in every sense of the word. She has always given me amazing, realistic, input during our consultations, only recommending the services I need. She’s taken me from long to short, red to blonde, and many things in between. We love Salon Hom! Carissa does my whole family’s hair. She is the best with blonde highlights— and customizes my highlights for my busy mom lifestyle when I don’t have time for a lot of upkeep. Love it! 5 Stars! First time using this salon, and I was little wary when my phone call rolled to voice mail. However, the owner called back the same day, listened as I described what I was looking for, and I had an in-person consultation the next day. Bre, the stylist, listened intently as I described my problem, concerns, and desired outcome. She did a fantastic job with my color fix – I could not have been more pleased with the result. She was attentive, thorough, and talented. If you want a good hair salon, I highly recommend HoM.

I made a last minute appointment ahead of travel and they were able to fit me in on such short notice. Great experience and results with Karma. Prompt, friendly, professional and quick trim despite having A LOT of hair. Will definitely be back!

Originally I made an appointment for being a model as a price of a $25 haircut. The first lady that I talked to (in person) told me that my haircut would be on Thursday at 2:15pm, she then texted me to reschedule it completely to the day after at 2:15, as if that was not enough she then called me again to change it! Three times we ended up having to change my whole appointment. I was still fine with that. When I arrived to my appointment on Friday a young girl brought me in and washed my hair. When I said wash let me say it was not even a wash at all. I sat down to her not even knowing which temperature was hot or which one was cold, she did not even completely wet all parts of my hair, she then ended up putting shampoo on my dry not wetted scalp! The washing process just never began, she petted and swiped my hair and did not even massage my scalp in the slightest bit. After my haircut I went to go pay, and the lady at the front desk told me that my total was $100! After I was told by the reseptionist I would have been a model! It was a complete rip off, will never go there again.

Carissa is hands down the only person who I trust with my hair! She rescued my hair after a bad experience at another salon, and made my hair look exactly how I had wanted while keeping it healthy! She is the most knowledgeable stylist I have ever met, and creates the most beautiful hair results! Along with her superior work, she is so kind and relatable! I enjoy the personal connection and genuine care she gives to each appointment in her clean gorgeous salon space! I would recommend her to anyone and will never see another stylist after my experience with her!
