I understand barbers can’t spend too much time on any single haircut. However, it should be reasonable for a barber to ask the customer if any more needs to be cut after the initial trim. I went into the store not knowing what size tool to ask the barber to use, which I could tell immediately bothered him. “We gonna cut it once and that’s it” word for word what he said. The entire time I was getting my hair cut the barber spoke ill of the person that sat down before me simply because he had to trim his hair down after the guy said he wanted it even shorter. Pretty easy to guess that he did the same about me after I left. I paid $35 for a 15min haircut… do you expect everyone that comes in to know exactly what size tool to use on the sides and top? Great Clips charges less than half of what I paid and has service that is miles ahead of this store. I won’t be returning, and wish I had gotten my hair cut anywhere else since i’m positive the cut would’ve been the same. Shame on you for badmouthing customers while other customers are there, and for misleading customers into thinking they’ll be getting a premium haircut when in reality the price (highest in blacksburg) doesn’t reflect anything about the store.

I had a terrible experience at this barber shop, barber had no idea what he was doing and nicked my ears multiple times with the clippers. I showed him a picture of myself with fairly simple instructions, keep the top long and shorten the sides and back. I asked him if that made sense and he replied with “we’ll figure it out”, at that moment I knew it was going to be bad. He asked another barber for help and she did a fairly good job, she then asked him to finish the cut by cleaning some things up and it went down hill, my sideburns were uneven, and he asked if i wanted some off of the front i asked for a little bit and he proceeds to cut almost the whole length off the front. it was embarrassing honestly you could tell he had no idea what he was doing as many parts of my hair are just odd lengths and not clean at all, he just cut with no regard to anything else. one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had.

Terrible. Terrible customer service, experience, haircuts, and prices. The barber who gave me my haircut did not know what he was doing whatsoever. I had to tell him how to cut it since he didn’t know how. Suprisingly it was a simple low taper cut. He took over an hour and was cutting my hair dangerously with the scissors near my eyes, I have never had a haircut like that before but I know it was not a safe or effective method. Nearly cut my eyebrows and gauged my eyes out. Additionally, he cut my ear open with the hair clippers twice. I sat there bleeding while he tried putting rubbing alcohol on it and a bandaid. At least he apologized. The worst part was that he charged me $25 for cutting open my ear and giving me a haircut I ultimately did not like even though I was telling him how to fix it each time he said he was done. Go get a cheaper haircut for $15 somewhere else. Never coming back again.
