Pink Sunshine
This is a very unsanitary braid shop I have ever gone to in Hampton Roads. The African ladies do not sanitize accordingly after braiding each customer’s hair. I watched as they repeatedly use the same Combs, silver hair clips, blow dryer comb and brushes on each customer without proper cleaning. Here are a few pictures to show they do not have disinfected solution at any of their workstation, which further More prove what I am saying.

Extremely slow, poor service and constantly speaking in their language saying slick stuff… 8 hours to do simple braids. And we winded up having to leave with the hair not fully complete. Their prices are too high for the quality of work. Hairstyling

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueMade an appointment for 10:30 am. I get there and there is no one available to do my hair then they had the nerve to ask me did I want to come back at 3pm i told them no i don’t that’s why i scheduled my appointment for 10:30 am. So one of the ladies called the other African braiding shop that’s sisters to them and ask could they do my hair so basically I had to go to another shop and still wait until about 12:30 to getmy hair done. Horrible dissatisfied with how this business is unprofessional. Horrible wait time even when you have a appointment. Tried to put inexperienced braider on my $300.00 hairstyle. Do not patronize this place. Arumentative when I had a appointment and had to wait three hours! Another occasion the owner agreed to style .I came to show her the style and talk business in person. Then when I came to my appointment the logistics and price changed. Yet this is what should have been communicated prior. So I had to leave without getting my hair done. Drove thirty minutes and took the day off for this Appointment. Run from this place!

Absolutely LOVED my first experience and will be returning! The moment I walked in I felt like family to these ladies. Not only did they do an awesome job on mine and my daughters hair, but they made us welcomed. We have found our braid place for as long as we are in VA! Also, don’t let the prices scare you; you get what you pay for! That is very true with Christals African Braids!! You will always leave satisfied!! I Received e service from this shop last week, I had to remove the twist four days later. I told the provider she was braiding my hair to tight. She continued to braid my hair tight. I have lumps all over my head now to in an infection. I called to tell them what has happened to my head, the owner relayed to me is that I could not receive a refund. That was not my intention! I wanted them to be aware of what has happened. The owner was arguing with another customer while I was there. Very unprofessional I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Please Do not patronize the shop, they do not care about the customers
