I have been coming to Ninsi’s for the past 6 years and I have never been disappointed. Whether I get extensions or my natural hair done, I am always satisfied with the results. I have seen her work miracles on ALL types of hair and clientele. She is a true professional and the only person I trust with my hair. I come to her on a regular basis and also for special events. I always make an appointment and Ninsi always finds a way to support my hectic schedule. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE in the Hampton Roads area just solely based off the way the owner treated me after spending around $2000 in her services (hair coloring, biweekly blowouts) this year alone. I came into this salon a week ago, I had a blonde balayage that I got done in May and requested to get a toner to neutralize the blonde in my hair. I came up from the washbowl with burgundy brown roots and I was HORRIFIED because I had not requested or asked for this at all. I immediately let the shampoo girl know and Ninsi already was snappy saying it was brown and not red even though I had never asked for either. Was this some sick joke? The shampoo girl told me to just see how it comes out after being blown out. And as I thought, I’ve got burgundy roots and a grown out blonde/black balayage. I got home and immediately told Ninsi via text I was unhappy with my hair color and it wasn’t what I requested. I mean I asked for a toner and somehow left the salon with a different hair color?! Not only that I began to get concerned with my hair state of fixing it right away or just letting it grow out (as anyone would be) and Ninsi acted as if now I was bothering her about hair care and the next steps that should be taken. She also said she would charge me for another blow out after I just paid her $200 for something I disliked and she should have felt inclined as a hairstylist to fix and make right with the client. I am disgusted with her disregard and how unprofessional she is after spending so much money with her. I will definitely be spreading the word about this salon.
