Critical: Professionalism, QualityCame in here to get my haircut as well as for my two boys. When they asked me what I wanted, I was very clear in describing that each of us needed a simple low fade.They did not do this for any of us. My two boys, who each sat very still and polite, were basically just given ‘trim’ haircuts. It was lazy. As for me, I didn’t even get my haircut as my stylist had a breakdown and then refused to cut my hair.This was after they had made me explain several times what I wanted done. It was like they didn’t want to do it. A low fade is not a hard haircut to do. Many men get this haircut. However, it seemed to me that the stylists did not want to cut my hair or my boys’ hair.Throughout our visit, I got the impression that things in there were not happy. I could tell when I walked in that the stylists were on edge. As I was paying, the stylist ringing me up was clearly trying to make me upset. It was like she wanted conflict.Reading the other reviews, its clear I’m not alone in this experience. Critical: Professionalism, ValueVery disappointing. I went here 2 weeks ago to get a haircut the week of my wedding. The haircut was fine but when I asked if I could have a beard trim as well, I was told they did not have the time and I would have to reschedule. So they scheduled a beard trim and hair styling appointment for the Saturday morning of the wedding. Seemed like a good idea, beard trims aren’t too risky and I would save some time getting my hair styled at the same time. As wedding days usually go, I was running a few minutes behind. My appointment was for 9:00 am, I called ahead and told them I would be a few minutes late but please don’t cancel or move my appointment. I was told they were very busy and had to bump me a half hour. I begged them not to and to please get me in just a few minutes past my original time (appointments are booked for half hour blocks and a beard trim / styling should take 15 minutes). I was told they need to bump me but might be able to get me in early. I arrived at 9:05 am and begged to be seated but they soonest they expected would be 9:20. At 9:20, I asked if I might be seated soon, I even mentioned I was getting married and just needed a quick beard trim and hair styling. No luck. They took another customer back for a haircut during this interaction. At this point it seemed unlikely I would even be seated by 9:30. They could not get me in any sooner. After pleading to be seen, I left without a beard trim or hair styling.All-in-all, customers are just a number here. The haircut was fine but when I asked if I could have a beard trim as well, I was told they did not have the time and I would have to reschedule. Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was probably one of the worst haircuts I have ever received as well as the most awkward. My stylist Erin was terrible. You could tell right away that she did NOT want to be working and didn’t say a word to me my entire haircut. After deciding what I wanted to do with my hair, I could tell she was cutting TOO MUCH off and it was not what I wanted. She did a REALLY high fade which is not what I wanted. She also blended the side of hair where I part my hair to too short. I told her that the long part of my hair in the front is really hard to grow back, so I said I just need the ends trimmed and that will be fine. She proceeds to take almost an inch o hair off…. Which then did not blend at all. My head looks like two different styles going on and doesn’t match. One side is shaved and the other side is poorly blended. At the end you are supposed to get a back massage and she said “do you want the back massage?” I said no only because I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. Again, she said absolutely nothing during the hair cut and was rude. Did I mention it only took her 15 minutes to botch my hair? I would not recommend this establishment at all. You could tell right away that she did NOT want to be working and didn’t say a word to me my entire haircut. Positive: ProfessionalismUsually I’m pretty anxious about going to barber shops, but I’m definitely making this place my go-to. Jennifer gave me, hands down, the best haircut I’ve had in a minute. Other barber shops usually chop something up wrong, but she was amazing. Thanks Jennifer, literally killed it!❤️
