Coming to Xanadu was overall a great experience. I was greeted when I came in, the general atmosphere of the salon was very relaxing. My stylist Callie was great to work with, she asked a ton of questions to understand what look I was going for and I feel like she nailed it. Plus the shampoo? I could have fallen asleep. It was a wonderfully relaxing feeling, being pampered for an hour… 10/10 would recommend!

Lauren was amazing. I loved talking to her and the fact that she not only listened to me but heard me as well. She took time to give me valuable pointers and tips/tricks and was just a wonderful person to be around. I can’t wait until my next appointment and feel that I have finally found “my girl”. I’ve been to Xanadu several times. I have loved everything i’ve gotten done, and for that I give them 5 stars. HOWEVER. I give them 1 star for bangs. I recently went in to get my bangs done, and I had a reference photo and everything. I told the hair stylist that I wanted what was done in the picture, and I SPECIFICALLY told them that I didn’t want more hair added to my bangs, AND that I didn’t want them that short. They proceeded to stand over me (blocking the view of the mirror.. so I couldn’t even SEE what they are doing) and before I could say anything they cut more hair than I wanted. When they moved out from in front of me and I saw what they did… I almost broke into tears right there. It’s been 3 days. WORST BANG CUT IVE EVER GOTTEN. I even asked to stick to curtain bangs and I got dora bangs. No wonder they give free bang trims!!!!! The reason why I won’t give them one star is because they’ve done an amazing job with my hair in the past.. But oh my god… I’ve never felt so ugly in my life!!!! My hair is the only part of me that I feel confident in and one bang trim ruined hat I really should’ve just done them myself. I’ve been told I look like coconut head (when my hair is up). They really are worse in person…

I have never really felt comfortable in a salon, I’m very low maintenance. Callie is a true professional and made me feel right at home. Today was my second visit and I felt like I was hanging out with friends…without the conversation turning unprofessional or gossipy. At my first visit her “intake” was really helpful with asking plenty of questions to make sure she understood not only the look I wanted, but how she could create that look without it being too high maintenance for me. My cut & color/highlights turned out wonderful and very natural both times, exactly the color I hoped for. Thank you Callie I’m so glad I found you!

Great! I was nervous to go to a salon since I never have I also have curly hair and I’m mixed so I have textured hair so finding people able to handle both is rare. I left so happy. I had Sophia she was knowledgeable, personable, and I felt comfortable in her chair and the environment. She didn’t make me feel bad for not having any knowledge about hair care and even helped with with finding product that will help me .I instantly booked for 3 months to see her again and be on top of keeping my hair healthy. I am so glad I took a chancee and came here worth every penny.

I absolutely love my hair color! My stylist took a good amount of time working with me to figure out how to cover the grey and add in some dark brown ashy coloring in certain areas of my hair to transition away from the brassy color job I last had done in August at JCP, because everything was booked before my trip. I’m calling my color blend “Snickers”. Really pretty! Thank you!!!
