really want to give them a 0 stars. 1). The braider was late, then when she finally arrived at 8:55, it was 3 clients there for service with 1 braider. The other braider finally arrived around 9:30. 2). I wanted a wash service. The portable shampoo station didn’t sit right with me, so that was a no. 3). Then it smelt funny in the salon, my eyes kept burning. 4). The older lady braiding my hair couldn’t braid. Elizabeth told me she couldn’t do a certain style. 5). The hair weave didn’t match my hair. They tried 2 different colors. 6). I had to tell the braider to put gel on my hair so it could lay down and not be looking frizzy. 6). I enclosed the picture of what she did vs what I wanted. 7. It took her until 10:52 just to do those braids. After complaining about how the hair didn’t match, finally they said 2 go to the hair store to get some. I left that place. Then Elizabeth had the nerve to call my phone. I didn’t go off. I remained calm and didn’t answer it. They wasted my time completely. I hate when people do that. I wanted my braids for the cruise I am going on. This is far by the worst customer service I have experienced in dealing with my hair. Do not go to this place if you aren’t prepared to be unprofessional. I told my friend they had great reviews, and she said they probably wrote the comments themselves and that Africans really can’t braid. Yes, I did send her a picture of the style I wanted prior to the appointment.

I would highly recommend that you stay away from this business. About two and a half weeks ago, I received a sew in with a partial leave out. It was scheduled for a Sunday, and I had called the previous night. They had told me no one would be able to come in and do my mom and I’s hair. After much negotiation, she had finally agreed to come in. I decided to go that Sunday and have my sew in done, and although it was not styled the way I had wanted it, I was able to go home and do it to my liking. However, I was not made aware that I would not be able to put my hair up. I have had multiple sew ins done in the past and was able to put it up in ponytails, buns, etc. so this was extremely disheartening. About a few days later, the weave started falling out in big strands when I put it in a simple ponytail. The actual sew in was lifting up and the braids were undoing themselves. I had reached back out to the shop and notified them of how I was unsatisfied with their work. The one who did my sew in explained to me then that I was not supposed to put my hair up, and it was specifically done to wear down. She then told me I could come in and get it redone for free, but I explained to her that I wanted it taken out entirely. She said she could do this, but would charge me $30. I told her I would call her back and discuss this further, as I was out of town for the time being. Fast forward to today, I had called the shop to ask if I could come in and get it taken down. The same lady who did my hair said that she could redo it. I then reiterated the situation about how I was the one who called about the sew in a few weeks ago and explained that I should have it taken down for free, as I was not the one who had done a poor job on the sew in. She said that she would do it at a discounted rate, and I then told her that that was extremely unfair because that is not what I had wanted in the first place and it looked terrible. She told me to come in and she would take it down today for free. I came in and they were extremely rough when they took my hair down, even knocking my glasses off of my face. After I was done, I was getting ready to leave and the lady stopped me and said that I owed her $20. I told her that this was NOT discussed over the phone. She said that it was not her problem and that she specifically did not tell me over the phone. I paid her and left, however, this was the WORST experience I have ever had with a hair braiding store and the unprofessionalism was astounding. Would NOT recommend going to this place unless you want someone who is willing to cancel on you at the very last minute, do a poor job on your hair, and will not discuss the rates upfront with you. Take this as your warning.

This is my favorite and only place I get my hair done. I’ve been going to them for over 4 years, and they also do my little girls’ hair. Pricing is fair to me, and my hair always last at least 3 months and still looks good. I haven’t had a bad experience with them at all!

My lock extension weren’t inner locked at all they were falling out 2 weeks after I got them done.
