Critical: Quality, ValueI came in as a new client on 10/08/21 to see Jamie. I needed a cut and full color. My hair color was very faded since I had not been to a salon in over a year. I’m new to this area and trying a new salon was extremely anxiety inducing for me. I was charged $200 and left a $20 tip. I felt this was a fair price, until I got home. I wear my hair up often for work. There are streaks that are incredibly obvious where my natural color is coming through the black color. Overall, it does look better than before I came in but a master stylist should be able to successfully apply a dark color to someone’s hair. I came in as a new client on 10/08/21 to see Jamie. I needed a cut and full color. My hair color was very faded since I had not been to a salon in over a year. I’m new to this area and trying a new salon was extremely anxiety inducing for me. I was charged $200 and left a $20 tip. I felt this was a fair price, until I got home. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAlicia got me blonde! This has been a goal my previous stylist wasn’t able to achieve (after several appointments). She was very knowledgeable and kind. She’s one of those women you feel like you’ve known forever soon as you sit in her chair. She’s very thorough and takes a lot of pride in her work. I am so thankful to have found a seat in her chair!!! The rest of the staff was great too and I would highly recommend this salon.Alicia got me blonde! Alicia got me blonde! This has been a goal my previous stylist wasn’t able to achieve (after several appointments). She was very knowledgeable and kind. She’s one of those women you feel like you’ve known forever soon as you sit in her chair. She’s very thorough and takes a lot of pride in her work. Alicia was FABULOUS! Thanks to this stylist I received a warm friendly welcome, attention to my request, and in the end the perfect haircut.I will be back. She is my number one for all of my hair needs! With that being said, one of the very best parts about this salon is you don’t have to go here for one stylist! If something happens and you have to book with another stylist you will absolutely get the same quality and experience!I could talk all day about how amazing Alicia is too! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityAfter an extensive search for someone who can skillfully cut curly/wavy hair, I found Andrea Ware at the Va Beach location. She’s got curly hair herself so she’s well aware of the challenges. I love her. Before Andrea, people wanted to give me a bob cut that angled toward my face. Drove me crazy to have that weight and all that hair around, and in, my face. Andrea worked with me to nail the right color and cut for me. Took a few visits for her to get to know my hair, and me, before she nailed it so don’t expect perfection on the first visit (with any stylist). The important part is she listened and paid attention, and she’s skilled. She let me try things that she ended up liking and advised me against a couple things she knew wouldn’t work, so great communication. The salon is nice and comfortable. Their shampooing sinks are comfy; I have bad arthritis in my neck so that’s important. They handled covid well so I was at-ease going there all through 2020, and still. After an extensive search for someone who can skillfully cut curly/wavy hair, I found Andrea Ware at the Va Beach location. She’s got curly hair herself so she’s well aware of the challenges.
