Austin is hands down the best barber in Johnson City. Been super impressed with how meticulous he is… extremely detail oriented. You can definitely tell he takes pride in his craft. I’ve gone to him a handful of times now and it’s always on point. Until you experience a service like his, you don’t really know what you are missing out on. He’s in a caliber of his own which is great for Johnson City area. Highly recommend!

I recently moved down to Johnson City from New England and was looking to find a new barber in the area. I gave Collective Culture a call and Tyler graciously put me into his final 4:30 time slot. Finding a new barber can be tough, but any anxiety I had went away when I met Tyler. It is evident how much pride he puts into his work, and his attention to detail is unmatched. He is not only a quality barber but a genuine person as well! Not to mention the atmosphere inside is awesome.

I have been going to Austin (owner at collective culture) for years, 5 to be exact, and have not found one barber that comes close to how good he is. Austin has surrounded himself with some awesome barbers all just as good. They listen to what you want and exceed your expectations. They have a barber that accepts walk-ins and she’s ready to start as soon as you walk through the door. I have never left disappointed and highly recommend them to anyone who asks and compliments my haircuts. If you live in the tricities you definitely need to consider booking or walking in. This was my first experience with “Collective Culture” and I am very impressed and pleased with the outcome. The location was easy to find, the atmosphere was very bright and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and conversational. Austin was my barber. He took his time and made sure my cut/beard was exactly what I wanted and very clean. Exceptional outcome! While there, watching the other barbers work, they were all extremely detailed and impressive. I highly recommend this barber shop and regardless of your barber, you can count on an exceptional haircut.
