Called ahead to make sure they could do walk ins. On arrival the first guy looked and me and ask “do you need something? ” then told me he was busy and to ask one of the other 3 people. I walked over to the one sitting in a barber chair and the guy laying on a table watching the game. After explaining to him 3 times I was there at a barber so for a haircut he then said he was busy with a customer and pointed to the guy in the chair. He asked the lady that was there and she said she was also busy. There was 1 customer side from me and he was with the first guy I talked to. I have zero interest in returning, there are 4 other barbers in the area. Unless you already have a rapport with this place don’t waste your time. They could be the cleanest fades you’ve ever seen but the problem is you’ll never see them because you’ll get tired of waiting 20 minutes when you’re the only customer waiting and there are 3 free barbers

Positive: Professionalismyo best haircut of my life for real. the vibes there are awesome. Chris did wonders for my appearance. i’m very tender headed and while he was picking out my hair, i ain’t feel a thing. haven’t been to a barber shop in 7 years and i can say i suggest that everyone goes to crown cuts for a great cut!

I have been coming to this establishment since 2004, when I was 9 years old. Growing up in this area, more specifically Hawkins County, there aren’t many people that my family trusted to cut hair and Craig’s Crown Cutz never failed. The atmosphere is great, everyone interacts with one another like a family. The barbers make you feel comfortable and are knowledgeable about the picture you have in mind for your haircut. They cut everyone’s hair, exceptionally well. Don’t think because it’s a “black barber shop” they can’t cut your hair! Art is art. Give them a visit!

The barbers are talented and provide great haircuts. However, everytime I have visited this barbershop over the last few years I have experienced long wait times. Additionally, I often become frustrated waiting as the barbers will not acknowledge that you are waiting, not inquire if you are waiting on a haircut, and will take customers that walk in after you appearing to go in no order. Again, while they provide quality haircuts, I will opt to go another barbershop where I am acknowledged and don’t leave irritated with the lack of customer service.

Nice place. Bobby is my barber. He is truly a professional, takes a lot of pride in the details. I have conversed with the other barbers down there, they are all a joy to be around and the barbershop conversation can get very interesting sometimes.
