Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This place helped my son, my son showed up with a botched hair cut from another establishment. They fixed it the best they could and made his hair cut look way better. As he was cutting my sons hair he spoke to him with positivity of his situation, my son had long hair to having finger length hair. He was upset. This shop also stayed open 0when he was getting ready to close up shop for the night. He seen how much we needed help and stayed open for someone that just walked in the door. Thank you we appreciate the service, the help and postive words.

Moved to Cookeville from NY, have had my hair cut in a couple barbershops around town and finally found Culture Image Grooming Studios, hands down best place to get your hair done, fast, clean, friendly and professional!! Devon did a great job!! Exactly what I ask for!! Will be my barber for now on!! Will see you guys soon and will be referring my son to you guys! Blessings!!

Recently moved from New york and been looking for barber shop here in Cookeville. Finally found one.. boy ohh boy.. what a great haircut I had. They do no how to do their job.. attention to detail- understand what customer really wants – almost spent 45 minutes doing my hair and outcome was worth it. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI just moved in to the area from Colorado, where I had a great barbershop I went to regularly. I was a little concerned coming here that I might not be able to find a barber that did a good job with my particular kind of hair.I also like a very simple cut, but the cheap strip mall chains always take that to mean that they don’t have to bother doing a good job and can cut corners. I looked around for a while online and liked the vibe I got from the facebook page and the google maps pics. I met Terrance at the shop right on time. He listened to what I wanted and went right to work. He cut my hair fast and I was kind of expecting maybe this wasn’t going to be a good cut. When he finished, I looked in the mirror and was surprised at the fantastic job he did!!! He also had recommendations for my next cut I am going to take him up on. I was happy, and most importantly my wife was happy!I am middle aged and not really looking for a trendy cut, but I do care about my appearance. I looked so good when he was done, my roommates didn’t even recognize me. I can’t go anywhere without dudes askin me who did my fade. If you like being ugly and not pickin up women you should prolly go somewhere else because Terrence will have the ladies lined up at ya front door. Critical: ProfessionalismTerrence (the owner and head barber) is completely unprofessional. I strongly suggest you get a haircut elsewhere. I have gone to him multiple times for haircuts and my experience with him has always been the same (he’s VERY late in giving you a haircut – even when you book an appointment ahead of time, he will book walk-ins at (or just before) YOUR scheduled time, which will make your haircut appointment late, he his rough on your head, he has inappropriate phone conversations while cutting your hair, and he over-charges for this awful service.
