Ashley was AWESOME! She always made sureni was comfortable, which is big cause im always nervous going into a salon in a different city, she was super easy to talk to and easy going,, she made sure she knew exactly what we were doing color wise i had recently visited another salon in Nashville but they didn’t get it as blond as I wanted so I let Ashley know what I was going for and she did exactly what I wanted looks amazing!! If you are looking for a place to go go here and schedule with Ashley! She even asked if I was okay with the music how cool! I asked for pictures after and she got them to me very fast. I cant say enough good things about this place! Chairs comfy too! I had a full highlight done! Anyway thanks again ashley!!

10/10 Gabby Henderson was my stylist, and she was lovely from start to finish. She meet me in the lobby with a smile. Our consultation was great. She listened to all my concerns and goals. And oh my gosh y’all! You’ll want to marry her after your shampoo! I’ll definitely be coming back just for the scalp massage. It’ll knock your boots off. Gabby focused in on the details of my haircut while still able to have a good chat. She just really wowed me with her skill and attention to detail. I really wish I could be that lady that gets her hair styled ever week because it was such a nice break away from my daily life! Loved loved loved Gabby!

From the pictures it appears these stylists dont know how to finesse layers. Many younger stylists today have weak skills tending towards gimmicky technique or only know one hair cut. I take the time to say this for the benefit of any stylist who wants to be better than mediocre at best. Take this advice and build. In a world of blah slackers there is little competition for people who do outstanding work–stylists who can do great hair cuts in different styles, every time. “Feathering” ala Lady Diana where the style is in the cut, not the styling. Learn it well. It is foundational and it will open doors of innovation you didn’t know existed.

I basically went in and told him I had no idea what to do with my hair and he was able to go with a style that looked good. I also want to note that he cut my hair on his first day with E.V. 1, and despite being somewhat unfamiliar with the way the shop was set up, it didn’t really delay him and he was able to provide quick service while still maintaining quality.
