Theresa was absolutely AMAZING! I went in with an idea of how I wanted my hair to look, I had several different pictures of idea’s and Theresa was extremely patient, and brought out hair color samples so I could actually see the colors instead of on a photo. Kiani is by far, the best hair stylist. She is always on point and makes sure you are happy with the results of her work. I have recommended her to family and friends for years. Gould’s is always a place of excellence however, not this time. My best friend set up what was to be a beautiful birthday surprise day at Gould’s, but I received the confirmation call not her. That one phone call completely ruined the surprise that was going to happen for me. I know she spent a great deal of money, but because of this she cancelled the entire afternoon at Gould’s. Not only did she request her money back, but the person that answered the phone took no responsibility for the error. I will not be a customer at Gould’s again.

Probably not going back. Hairstylist was unable to do a simple service without doubling the price with hidden fees. No confirmation of asking if this was okay, and not provided a receipt of charges, kinda on the sketch side to me. I didn’t realize asking for a trim would be such a daunting task for a salon. This is the second time in a row they have disappointed me, as I learned the hard way that their “color specialists” had never done color before. When I called to complain of hidden charges, manager justified this stating that’s okay and I just had to accept this. Not cool.

I went a couple weeks ago and forgot to post but it was my first time going to this spa. I got a massage which was my favorite part. It was amazing and it felt good. They were able to squeeze me in which was cool so I had no problem coming in. It was the facial part that I didn’t like. I had never had a facial before. The lady who did my facial just got done smoking cigarettes which I should’ve said something but I just wanted to get it done and just go home. She kept coughing and yeah she washed her hands but they smelt like cigarettes as she rubbed all this stuff on my face. She got the blackheads off my face which kind of hurt and I didn’t know that’s what she was doing. I gave this 3 because her breath and hands smelt like cigarettes & the blackhead removal hurt but other than that the lady was nice. I probably will come back for a massage but not for a facial.

New to the area, and thought I’d try Goulds out for a haircut. After I sat down and was asked what I wanted, I just explained I wanted a one on the sides and the top shortened a little. I said that my usual barbershop blends the sides. She even asked me when the last time I had a haircut was, likely to determine the length that I had my top cut to last time, relative to how much my side and back have grown out. The first thing that she does is grabs the clipper with a 1, and brings one side of my hair even higher than a high top. There was no blending or fading even attempted, and it’s clear that my requests were ignored. I try to avoid the barbershop scene, maybe I was in the wrong to seek a mens haircut at Goulds, but I am very unhappy with my haircut.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had my hair colored, cut and styled and I also had a manicure. I have never been more pleased with how my hair and nails turned out. Every other place I have been to seems like they just want to get you in and out as fast as possible. Agoud went above and beyond to make sure my hair turned out the way I wanted it, and it actually turned out even better than I had planned on. She was extremely friendly and made me feel at home during the whole process. The whole staff was extremely friendly and professional. I will definitely be going back and I will also start taking my son here for his haircuts.
