I don’t know what happened to this great clips in the last few months but it has gone way downhill. Made an appointment recently to have my kids haircuts. Registered my appointment online. When I got there there were three staff standing around talking and gossiping. They we so caught up in their conversation they could care less if we were there.. I waited about five minutes to see if somebody would greet me. No one greeted me or acknowledged we were even there. So I went up to one of the staff and asked them if they were still doing haircuts. She apologized and said yes. Checked us in and proceeded to tell us that it would be a few minutes. Comes back about five minutes later And tells me that she is not feeling well and the other two ladies who were standing around were leaving. This was at 3:45 p.m. The only person giving a haircut supposedly was not feeling well either. And that they could no longer give us haircuts. I was very surprised and taken back by this since I have been here many times and never been treated this way. Not to mention the turn over is so high. I can’t believe how many new faces I see every time I go in there. But I still gave this place a chance. This was kind of the last straw. Will not be going back. Unprofessional and no customer service. There was also another gentleman waiting which they did not bother to say anything too either. Don’t waste your time.

I love my hair cut and my stylist Deannea she took her time while cutting my hair I didn’t feel like I was rushed or just another customer to her she really made an effort to understand what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations she is really good at what she does! I will be going to her for every haircut for my self and for my 4 children as she also cut my sons hair it was quite a big job as he went from longer hair to shorter hair and he’s not good with sitting in a chair but she was patient and made sure he was ok the entire time I could not be more pleased with her and her services!!

The store hours listed on the website are not maintained. Often times there’s a handwritten note outside the door, that they are closed early. The app doesn’t update when the store decides to close. It just says “app not working, please walk in”, only to find it closed early. Sometimes it gives you an appointment, only to find that the store is closed.

I described a detailed haircut to the stylist that took care of us in one sentence. “Skin fade to a high number 2 guard, scissors on top, and leave enough in the front to style…” She pulled it off flawlessly. She paid attention to the details, and a boy left beaming about his new haircut as it should be. =) Thank you!

The Fairview TN location has generally been good with friendly stylist, but today (1-12-21 2 PM) when I asked if they would please wear a mask they said “No” – they advised it was up to the individual employee – never mind that TN is in the middle of a huge spike in the Covid Virus. Can’t understand a business where employees come in such close contact with the public all day who would refuse a simple safety measure like putting on a mask. I was the 2nd customer to walkout in the span of 5 minutes. Getting a haircut is not worth risking your life due to ignorance of an individual employee. This policy reflects just how little this business really cares about the safety of their customers. I just pray no one must die and file a lawsuit before they change this thoughtless practice. Great Clips corporate is no help and advised that this decision is left to the individual stores. The store owner should decide to put customers health first! Every employee next door at Publix wears a mask 24/7 as does the Chinese restaurant next door.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI checked my son in for a haircut online. The app showed that it would be approx 110 minutes until it would be his turn. Two hours went by and I was alerted that he would eligible to get a haircut in 10 minutes. We went to the store. I forgot my mask so they would not let me enter the store. That’s fine. I will stand outside in the heat and wait. My son had his mask. I simply asked them to please let us know when my masked son can enter and get his haircut. The lady assured me my son was next and that she would let us know. Long story short, we waited outside in the heat for an hour. Two people went before my son despite being assured he was next. I wanted to complain in person but the staff kept disappearing to the back so there was no one to talk to besides the customers who were in the waiting area. Really nice people but, my son and I checked in online and we were told we were next. A man walked in(No check in) and the lady came to get my son then when she seen the man she refused to do my sons hair and took the man and so, therefore we had to wait another 20 min for someone else. I was highly upset and wont be back to that store!!!!
