Apparently even if you are second in line beginning 10 minutes before the store opens you can have more than an hour wait because online check-in people get priority even though that doesn’t start until a few minutes after the store opens. Might actually have been avoided if the store had opened on time. Probably why online check in starts a few minutes after store opening. Needless to say I won’t be getting my haircut at Great Clips anytime soon and you shouldn’t either. Avoid especially if your time is valuable to you.

Right when I walked in, I had to wait 40 min with only 1 person in line. Once I sat in the barbers chair she started a horrifying humming song right in my ear, this got me very annoyed. Then she grabbed my head with one hand and the other was on the phone ( she answered around 3 phone calls while cutting my hair) this haircut took around another 30 min. I asked for a number 2 on the sides and blend in with the top. She nearly gave me a buzz cut, while her fingers were still in my face. After 20 min she finally stopped humming and asked for a good review. ( hair was looking horrible ) she nearly made me cry when I was sitting in the chair because my hair was so short. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE. She even had the audacity to ask if I like it. I have to wear a hat for the next couple weeks to hide my horrible hair.

Waited 90+ mins in line on the app, then another 20+ mins standing inside after getting the 15min text message. There were two kids ahead of me, and I watched my name move up the list. When the last kid was checking out, I watched the stylist clear out my name assuming I was a no show. My name was never called. I waited a few minutes and then I asked about it. The stylist said she didn’t see my name anymore and basically I was told to come back tomorrow… I go all the time and only get a 5min buzz cut. They should have offered to work me in, I would have waited another 10 mins for the next person to finish, but I digress. I left without a haircut and won’t be back.

Have tried multiple locations in Memphis area and have seen some of the same workers. They can take walk-in clients, which is nice, but there is a reason. They fly through haircuts carelessly and make the most simple of cuts look sloppy. Tried multiple locations for about a year now because of walk-ins but always left unsatisfied. I literally just do a fade from a 3 or 4 to a 1. Not professional.

My wife and I have been coming here for our hair cuts for the past several months and have never had a bad experience. The store manager–Jess–has got a fun and charming personality and personally welcomes us whenever we step inside the salon. It is easy to tell that Jess makes his workplace fun because all of their great stylists–Kevin, Paige, and Erica just to name a few–actually carry on conversations with their clients, making the time there go by in a flash.

The place which makes me happy! Very cordial staff, very polite and professional! Melisa was wonderful and she suggested me a few cuts and styles which will suit me. Location of the place is at an amazing site you can shop around the place while waiting for your turn. You can check-in online which is very convenient so that you dont have to wait in lines, and they give you a call whenever you are up. You can also live track the number ahead of you. Very convenient and not that pricey.
