Whenever she styles my hair, I am truly amazed and I am always in LOVE with her work-of-art. Her braiding skills are impeccable and super neat! She was very accommodating and got me scheduled for large knotless braids. My favorite thing about going to Katrina is that you cannot feel her braiding your hair. There is absolutely no pain or pulling, but the braids are very secure and they last. My favorite thing about going to Katrina is that you cannot feel her braiding your hair. There is absolutely no pain or pulling, but the braids are very secure and they last. I highly recommend her for any type of braided styles, especially if you are tender headed. 10/10 for sure!

During our consultation, she asked me questions about my regimen, my lifestyle, and my health to give me holistic advice that’s relevant to me. This was really important to me because my last encounter with a professional hairstylist was a nightmare and I have not been back to a salon since and that was over 10 years ago. I received heat damage at a hair salon because the stylist felt she knew better than I did about my hair. Though I requested her to put more heat protectant, she assured me that “she knew what she was doing.” It took me 10 years to trust someone else to do my hair again. After that experience a decade ago, Going to Hair by Katrina was the best decision I could have made! It was such a pleasant experience in comparison. I got two strand twists that were neat and frizz-free for three weeks before I took them down. I felt like they could’ve lasted another week had I not washed them out but I was due for a shampoo and conditioner. No complaints, no regrets! And for me, that’s huge. I’m very picky with my hair. During our consultation, she asked me questions about my regimen, my lifestyle, and my health to give me holistic advice that’s relevant to me. This was really important to me because my last encounter with a professional hairstylist was a nightmare and I have not been back to a salon since and that was over 10 years ago. I received heat damage at a hair salon because the stylist felt she knew better than I did about my hair.
