This by far is the worst haircuttery I’ve ever been to. This location also needs some diversity training when it comes to African-American hair. I was a walk in I asked the lady if I could be taken she gave me an attitude. I told her never mind and she apologized and said she could take me. I had cornrows in my head and I told her that I needed my cornrows removed my hair washed and trimmed. During the takedown of my braids another woman came in needing service. I told her that she could cut the ladies hair really quickly and I would take down the rest of my hair everything seemed good. When she went to wash my hair she washed it once and told me that was enough I informed her because I have African-American hair that she would have to do a little more. She seem to become annoyed by the fact that I need her to wash my hair a little bit deeper. She did asked if I wanted a deep condition where she left a conditioner in my hair for all of five minutes. After such she had me sit in her chair and proceeded to try to cut my hair wet. I told her that it’s winter time and I need my hair dried and I don’t think she would be able to cut my hair evenly while it’s wet due to the fact that it’s curly. She proceeded to get an attitude and speak in her native tongue to her coworker after which she disappeared in the back for 10 minutes leaving me confused. Once she appeared she began to blow dry my hair but the experience was so uncomfortable not only because of her attitude but because how rough she was being with my hair. After which she began to trim my hair but this is the worst trim I’ve ever gotten. I usually go to the hair Cuttery on Columbia Pike they are so lovely and they’re always really gentle but unfortunately I had plans on Monday so I did not have time to go to my usual place. She made me feel like a burden I don’t think you should ever go to the hair salon leaving feeling ugly. There was no professionalism and she was just downright rude. Management needs to teach their team customer service. They also need to teach their team to be honest with clients. If you are not skilled in a certain type of hair be honest and not waste your or my time. I just feel disappointed.

Carmen was great. My appointment was with another stylist who did not show up. I waited 30 minutes then went with Carmen who worked me in. Greatly disappointed that my original stylist didn’t show up for my 0800 Saturday appt but incredibly pleased with Carmen and the outcome of my hair. Hair coloring, Hair hydration treatments

Celeste did a great job! I went to ultra for a hair cut and they did a horrific job. so I wanted to check out hair cutters and i’m never going back. She explained everything before she started my service and i walked out looking and feeling beautiful. I Definitely recommend celeste!!!!

Hideodourous experience. They have zero experience with black women’s hair. Mind you I just went in to get my hair washed… that’s it literally that’s it. She was trying to towel dry my hair to get to the seat (big no no) and then started combing like she was combing a mannequin head… my God. Terrible

Do not come here! I made an appointment with Celeste because she was a senior stylist. Thought it would be safe since I do not like to stray from my usual place but I took the chance since it was closer to my house. Never again. If she is suppose to be the best then that’s sad. She began chopping away without confirming the length. When I sat down I told her I liked my length (been growing it out for 6mos) but she took almost 3 inches off and when I told her to stop she said I was mistaking the short length with my layers. I wasn’t. My hair that used to cover my chest was now just below my shoulders. I was never told the price upfront nor at the register. I had to ask and for $60 I could of gotten better service and an real stylist somewhere else. The only reason I tipped 20% was because I’ve been in the industry and know the struggle, but I just could not leave having this stylist or “salon” think that they do a good job. They care more about getting people in and out then the care and experience of their clients. Don’t bother excepting appointments if you your going to make people wait another 15-20 minutes either. I’m so upset with my experience.
