Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI can not express enough how amazing it is to have a wonderful barbershop local like Handcrafted. The people there are so friendly and upbeat as well as being welcoming and inviting. My son had a cut a day ago from elsewhere that was less than satisfying and my son starts school soon. He was upset all day and smiled for the 1st time after seeing his newest cut and his hair fixed. They managed to handle my young son with kid gloves while still showing him man to man respect. I can not express enough how amazing it is to have a wonderful barbershop local like Handcrafted. The people there are so friendly and upbeat as well as being welcoming and inviting. My son had a cut a day ago from elsewhere that was less than satisfying and my son starts school soon. He was upset all day and smiled for the 1st time after seeing his newest cut and his hair fixed. Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy son has received a few hair cuts from this shop. The quality of care and professionalism that has been shown has always been the bare minimum. After waiting for over 2 hours, we won’t be back. This isn’t the first we had to wait that long and the owner (I’m assuming) didn’t have an appointment until an hr and 15 minutes after we got there. Not sure why it’s so hard to just cut a 5 year olds hair for picture day when you literally didn’t have anyone else is beyond me. Not saying they don’t do good work but they do not know how to properly run a business that supposedly is good with walk ins. Only one barber that cut my sons hair was friendly from the get go and that was Chris. And from what I heard, he was just filling in. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but after thinking about our experience overnight decided to. I have a young son who went here. The barber ( not the owner) was quiet but rough with my sons head. YES, it was tangled. YES he was overdue a cut. YES, We made a drastic change cutting off 4 or 5 inches. But the gentleman also made the comment “I have already had a couple kids in here with tangled hair so do not expect sympathy from me.” I knew his hair was a mess, as he is 8 and he had not brushed it that day. Also I am not a confrontational person so my son ended up having his hair yanked in obvious pain before the cut started, that was my bad, I should have yanked him out of the chair. But the cut itself was harsh too. Forcefully bending my child’s head, barking at him to hold still, and people, my child was sitting a still as an 8 year old boy can. He is used to involved hair cuts as he loves to sport lightening bolts. The last thing I will add is that this barber had a handwritten list lying visible of all the things he could not stand about clients. It included,” kids being a menace” “guys looking me in the eye while lining them up” “Knappy tangled hair” “sneaking a peak before I am done” “making an appointment and sneaking ahead” “greasy knappy hair”. While I cannot speak about the other chairs in the shop I will say that this guy was just rude, the hair cut is okay though, not really the lightening bolts he wanted more like zig zag lines but he is rolling with it

I’ve had a cut and a beard trim, by both Jordan and (forgive me if I spell your name wrong) Kolbi. Both men do great work, and the atmosphere at Handcrafted Cuts is awesome. The men their seem to all give their clients exactly what they need. I highly recommend that anyone in the tri-cities area, give them a try. I’m about 99% sure, you will not be disappointed.
