Due to travel, I’ve been forced to search out barbers in various cities. Google reviews usually point the way. It was no different in finding Hawkins, except…my visit there changed my willingness to go elsewhere. I have now found MY barber. As best I can, I find a way to always get back to Michael’s chair. He’s that gifted. He takes it serious, listens intently to your preferences, and then delivers a first class cut. Every. Time!

This is the best barber shop in Nashville. Not that I can vouch for any others because this is the only one I’ve been to since I moved to Nash. I started getting my hair cut with Hobby before they moved into this location and I’ve never had a bad cut. Been meaning to write a review once the shop opened. It’s a great old school vibe. Just walking in you know you’re going to have a good experience and even better cut. Hobby is great, always good conversation, and a great haircut. I always get complements. I’ve referred a few friends there and they’ve always thanked me for telling them about Hawkins. So if you’re new to town or looking to switch it up. Check out it out!

Critical: ProfessionalismCame in from out of town needing a haircut. Went on line picked them by location and reviews, filled out all the questions, picked a time for the next day, gave my credit card information (scary!)… at this point you don’t have an appointment you have a request for one (weird but ok). They will let you know! Next day they open at 9:00 I haven’t heard anything so I call but no answer, at 10:30 day of requested hair cut still no email, phone call or appointment… I call again lady answers so I explain that I need to schedule my day and she says the barber I requested is off today so my requested haircut appointment has been denied! A lot of work and anticipation for nothing, very frustrating.Came in from out of town needing a haircut.
