Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueLong story short: Jenny should not be allowed to ruin anyone’s hair. She doesn’t know anything.I saw some bad reviews before I made an appointment. Since another shop was closed during Christmas I decided to give it a try. It can’t be that bad as most are five stars, I thought. But I was wrong. It was the MOST worst haircut ever. Now I am crying at home and don’t want to see anyone. I literally couldn’t fall asleep for the first two nights then my husband comforted me that it would grow longer soon.I showed her a picture of JA with a long bob. What she did to my hair had nothing to do with the picture. It was shorter, thick and uneven choppy. She didn’t wash my hair (before and after) and spent less than 15 min cutting it. I don’t think pandemic was the excuse since Joey washed husband’s. It looked okay after she styled it but was a disaster after shower. All that for $55, sounds like a joke. My husband was generous to give 25% tips. I don’t think her service is worth a penny.I even tried to fix it myself back home. There were some ridiculous long hair out there. Miss Jenny always does a great job with my sons hair. Not many places around here know how to perm mens hair, but as you can see he looks very stylish and natural. Jenny and Joey are so nice. Jenny reminded me of the appointment the night before. I have curl hair and had some old part damaged, Jenny changed it a lot. She was very careful and meticulous when doing the Japanese Straightening for me, and seems to have some special techniques. Jenny also cuts well. I changed my mind to cut more after I left first, Jenny was very patient and asked me to come back.

Came to get a haircut and get my roots done and I’m SO happy with the results!!! The overall time was about two hours which was pretty fast considering what I got done, and the owners were super friendly. I’m most pleased with the color. They perfectly matched the color with what I already had, and when I showed a picture of what style haitcut I wanted, they got pretty much exactly what I wanted. The pricing was pretty good too- less than I expected. Just make sure to make a reservation bc they’re super popular!

After reading a lot of good reviews and seeing a lot of photos of good haircuts from customers that went to J&J hair salon, I knew I had found the best place to go to!I am really satisfied with my haircut/service because Joey took the time to analyze my hair and fix it! Before the haircut, my hair was uneven and parts of it were cut too short. Joey fixed the unevenness and blended the parts that were too short. After washing my hair, he also taught me how to style my hair with a blow dryer and wax! (I was given the option of wax or gel but I asked for wax because I use wax at home! )I have never had a haircut where the person really analyzed my hair and cut it in a way that really suited my head shape like Joey did! I come here twice a year for Japanese straightening. I have a lot of hair and its super thick, but Jenny is able to take care of it in about 3 hours (it takes 5-7 hours at other places) with minimal to no damage. Outstanding. She and her husband are super friendly too!! You feel really welcomed when you come here.

Not satisfied with my haircut. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and she cut it shorter than expected and did not style it right. I was the only customer there, but she cut my hair so fast like she was in a rush. Then it was time to pay and when I gave my $25 they ask “no tip?”. A tip has to be earned from good service, and I was not satisfied with what I got. I only gave a $2 tip and they were lucky I didn’t just leave. Haircut had me sitting in the car in silence after.
