This was the best hair braiding experience that I ever had I booked appointments with other places and to be honest they know who they are they wouldn’t see me because in their words and I quote “you do realize you’re white don’t you” another place I booked my appointment sent my deposit which was mandatory and had to buy my own hair and because I had to buy my own hair and I had to find my right color not just some any old color and she told me to make sure I got 28 in my color which was a deep dark red at 28 in is a little hard to find the place she suggested did not have my color so I had to go to a different hair store to find the right color in the right length so I was a little late she was very unprofessional so unprofessional I cancel my appointment ask for my deposit back which she would not give me so then while I was still in tears I called Kelly’s she was the sweetest kindest most considerate compassionate woman I have ever come across in my entire life she even canceled her own doctor’s appointment to see me considering what I had just been through and she apologized sincerely for another person whom she had never met she took her time and made sure my hair was exactly as I liked it actually turned out to be better than I had ever hoped I love this woman I would suggest her to any and everyone that wants a great experience hair braiding whoever said she pulled so hard that she tore out their edges NOT TRUE I fell asleep numerous times her braiding my hair 10 out of 10 I’m going to give her a 12 she’s that good thank you Kelly from the bottom of my heart #best braids #hands down bestaround #it don’t get no better #nobody in chat is touching her work #bad b**** f*** it

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went here in 2017 and haven’t been there since. She is very unprofessional. She started my hair at 1pm and didn’t finish until after 1am. She used poor quality hair. She charged me $250 for some box braids in a bob. She was in the bathroom constantly for an hour at a time. She was eating and talking on the phone while doing my hair. For days after she did my hair it itched so bad, I couldn’t get it to stop. She is horrible I don’t recommend her at all. I went here in 2017 and haven’t been there since. She is very unprofessional. She started my hair at 1pm and didn’t finish until after 1am. She used poor quality hair. She charged me $250 for some box braids in a bob. She was in the bathroom constantly for an hour at a time. She was eating and talking on the phone while doing my hair. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI have been multiple times & referred so many people Kelly was closer & I wouldn’t have to go to Atlanta (where I’m from). I will NEVER go again after she had my daughter to call me & ask me to come pay before she finished her hair 3:00 pm to 1:00 am for a bob. In what world does it take this long to braid hair & on top of it all she attempted to charge $140 & the place appears clean but we saw roaches? My daughter said she left multiple times. Around 605 Kelly ask me if her customer could go before me and I told I had something to do. She did a great job braiding & sticking to the style. My daughter was pleased. Yet, it took more time than I expected. She still get 5 stars cos she does go above & beyond. She treated my daughter like she was hers; very kind lady. I’ll just drop my daughter off next time. Ms. Kelly tried to tell me lol.

So this has ultimately been THE WORST EXPERIENCE!! Started out going on a Sunday evening thinking wow I’m so glad i found someone to do my braids this late. Since I’ve been here, I’m from Atlanta, the lack of options and people available to work and get this money is truly lacking in this town. Anyhoo got there and had to wait because service is crazy slow. So ultimately my 630 appointment was really an 8 o’clock appointment. Ended up there until 1am on a Sunday and my hair looked awful. Picture…the Lion Queen… went ho e and my family was hysterical with laughter and I had to take a day off of work on Monday. I called the lady and told her I would need her to re-crochet my hair and after a day of searching for the proper leave for her to install I got to her shop at 1:30 Monday afternoon only for her to tell me that she can’t take me today I was furious. I didn’t proceeded home and crocheted the front part of my hair because I had to go to work on Tuesday morning. I returned to her shop Tuesday afternoon at 4 PM where she had an assistant finish Crocheting the back part of my hair after she finished the owner stated I old $60 and said that because the hair that I originally purchased was not good I should pay $60. I will never give this establishment another dollar and I don’t recommend you do either. I will take my money to Atlanta for all of my hair braiding services because Chattanooga is full of price gouging and subpar work. This experience to cost me a day of work and over $250 per hear that should’ve only cost $80. They are extremely slow!! Don’t waist your time and money!!
