The hospitality of this place is awesome. Customer friendly, fair price. I got my hair highlights with one of the best stylists I have ever worked with , NATASHA is fabulous in what she does, delivers exactly what you ask for I would recommend her 1000 times with anyone who’s getting it for the first time , as she listens to your details and gives you best recommendations. The reason this even got 2 stars is because the lady that did my hair was very nice during the service and I do still have hair. My issue is I was told by the owner and the stylist they felt what I was asking for could be done. The first picture with the ombré is what I asked for as far as curl. What I got was the 2nd picture. I was told the reason for this by another stylist is because it didn’t finish processing and the wrong rods were used. When explaining this to the stylist the following day, she argued with me and repeatedly advised she did what I asked and said the reason it looked different is because it needed layers. She did put a layer in the back of my hair during the service and trimmed it (I did not ask for that). I declined her offer in fear it would look even worse. They were nice, however arguing with the customer when it’s obvious you messed up doesn’t sit well with me and I’ll never go back and advise others on my experience with this particular salon.

There’s always a bit of anxiety when going to a new stylist, especially when you’ve been with the same one for 15 years. Teresa listened to what I wanted and gave me a perfect cut. The salon is very cozy and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Mitizi’s salon!
