Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueI booked an appointment with mykindaart over a week in advance. I even texted the owner and confirmed my appointment midway through no reply for two days. The day before my 8am appointment I received a confirmation email and text, arrived and the shop was closed I called and text no answer no reply. After 3 hours of waiting I received angry calls and texts from the owner stating that I should not have went to Facebook and that she should slap me. Saying that I should never book with her again. I booked an appointment with mykindaart over a week in advance. I even texted the owner and confirmed my appointment midway through no reply for two days. This lady is unprofessional! She has never been on time, showing up 2-3.5 hours late with no call or text as to when she’d be there, and for every appointment! Granted, she was coming to my house, but no notification as to what time, even though there was an appointed time. She had the audacity to get annoyed at me calling to find out when she’d be showing up. I paid in advance to get my eyebrows done as well as braids for a few sessions. This “chick” never finished or even setup the second appointment for my eyebrows. It wasn’t for lack of trying on my part. I didn’t even request she do my hair after that because she started ghosting me. Tiera Johnson of “Mykindaart” should not be taken seriously in that business, but I will take her to court for repayment of my unfinished eyebrows. And since she so desperately needs the money, she can keep the rest! Be sure to guard your money out there, she has a hardship story about everything she can think of. If you pay in advance, you may end up with the same “childish” service. I’ll be taking her to court out of principal. If I’m going to have someone else finish my eyebrows, that she started, they deserve to get paid for their work, and I won’t pay twice. She does a nice job on braiding, but her customer service and professionalism, is lacking, majorly!!! Think twice before booking with her.

Booked with stylist didn’t communicate well at all. A client shouldn’t have to reach out if you run late. Said she would reschedule never heard back of course till I texted. Totally ridiculous. Don’t book if you aren’t a regular. Was also charged a cancellation fee.
