OJ TUTU makeup and hair braiding

Positive: QualityI’ve been a client of OJ TUTU for almost a year now and have had zero complaints. I’m the kind of person that dreads braiding my hair because of my tender scalp but OJ TUTU hands are honestly magical. She has made me fall in love not only with braiding my hair but also how to take care of my natural hair. Today was my first time making Ghana weaving and she did a phenomenal job. Unlike some other hair stylists I’ve come across, OJ TUTU braids last a long time, and I’ve carried her braid for almost 4 months. I’ve been a client of OJ TUTU for almost a year now and have had zero complaints. I’m the kind of person that dreads braiding my hair because of my tender scalp but OJ TUTU hands are honestly magical. She has made me fall in love not only with braiding my hair but also how to take care of my natural hair. Today was my first time making Ghana weaving and she did a phenomenal job. Unlike some other hair stylists I’ve come across, OJ TUTU braids last a long time, and I’ve carried her braid for almost 4 months. I have absolutely nothing more to say than I’m a happy client.

Critical: Quality, ValueI was a first timer with her, and my experience as horrible. During the appointment she was respectful, when we got to the end she asked me to check what price she told me, which made me think she was trying to change it. I paid what she had told me in the messages previous to booking with her. She lied about having policies that prohibited her from giving me a refund. I told her, I didn’t read any such thing. I sent her photos of a braid right on the edge of my scalp, that broke off with the braiding hair, requested a partial refund for this style being done incorrectly. She didn’t use enough of my natural hair in the braid, so the braiding hair weighted down my hair and broke it off, almost left me with a bald patch right in the front of my head. Keep in mind, everyone knows hair closer towards your edges, are thinner and more brittle, at least a stylist should be more attentive to that part of the head when braiding. I ended up getting my partial refund via Cashapp after I threatened to take her to court for the full amount, that I deserved. If you went in for a hair cut, and they cut your hair shorter then what you told them, you wouldn’t pay for a full haircut, so I told her that I thought I deserved at least half back. She said she needed money for her rent, and that she would need time. A little later that same night she asked for my cashapp and sent me half of what I paid her. I’m sure I’m not the first person with extreme hair loss from her braids, good luck if you do let her braid you up.
