DA BEST! Especially Heather. She listens, she does her best to accommodate you, and your style, yet is not afraid to reign you in if your idea isn’t going to work for your hair. Coming from someone who is very peculiar and gets a bi-weekly haircut to maintain a certain style, it’s crucial to have a stylist who thinks for herself and isn’t afraid to share her thoughts on what will work best for your nappy head. Kudos! Ten stars if I could give them! Candace and everybody up front are super cool. I’d like to go sometime when I am not going back to work so I could enjoy a cold Sam.

The final product was perfect every time and always looked so clean. Julie has surgical precision as I’m sure the rest of her colleagues do to. Erin, Julie & staff are the best in the business! They truly listen to their clients & treat them like family. They use the Vargaro service & app to keep track of appointments as well as your loyalty points. I would recommend both of these barbers over anyone else!

I am personally astonished by this business. I heard great things and quickly booked my husband an appointment. My husband is a very kind, well spoken man so he politely paid, tipped, and left after his service. He came back home took a shower, and said he felt disgusting after his shower. Quickly i became intrigued and kept prying and prying and he finally blurred out “SHE STUNK” “The lady who cut my hair STUNK so bad my eyes were watering.” So unprofessional especially for an upscale salon in Brentwood. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and sad that I put my husband through that.

I have been going here for about a year – I have had experience with three different stylists – Savannah, Ashley, and Kasey – all three are outstanding and fun to be around. Each one has taken the time to listen to what I think I want from a picture. Explained to me how it would work with my head and the cowlicks that I have ( hey, we are not all perfect!) and explain to me how they think we should proceed, and if we need to tweak they would. Never did I feel rushed, or that they rushed, each time we talked about how to work with the style, helping me understand how to blow dry, how to apply the product, and how to make it look like I wanted. Then they make notes in their systems – and the next time I visit, we never have to start over again – and they have read their notes before I hit the seat – wow! Never have they pushed product on me – which is extremely nice. I do use products that they sell and will buy if from them to support a local business but never do they insist – which is really nice. To top it all off is that warm shave of the neck- my fav!I had never been to a real salon, until I visited Refine – yes it is a bit more than the chain clip places – but it is well worth it. I never have to worry about what kind of cut that I am going to end up with – I know I am going to have the best haircut!Finally it is a great place to visit – the place is super clean, well maintained, I get to grab a beer on the way in, listen to some hip music, and quick to check out with all of the preregistration done on-line before I ever get to the salon.I highly recommend Refine!I can not say enough great things about this salon.
