I come to get my hair cut at least once a month here. Really old school environment, which I love. Prices are great so I try and tip well. The barbers are all professional and seem to enjoy what they do. Good masculine small talk.

Critical: ProfessionalismWalked in around lunch on Friday with one other person in the lobby waiting. I stood there for a second as I waited for someone to greet me but they never did so I just took a seat. Shortly after sitting there for a few minutes a gentleman walks in ask for a specific barber which seem to be in the back sleeping. After the sleepy, limping guy emerges from the back he tells the guy he’s got time to squeeze one in before his next appointment. Lucky for me the other customer was polite enough to offer to let me go first however the barber says I can just wait and told him to come on back. So instead of making a scene I just got up walked out and will continue to trash them on social media because that seems to be the most effective way to get your point across to these poorly ran business. You would figure with everything going on in the world and the economy has been shut down for months a business that is centered around public interactions could at least practice common courtesy.Walked in around lunch on Friday with one other person in the lobby waiting. I have been looking for a good barber on my side of town. I was hoping this would be the place. I brought my 8 year old son in for a cut. First, NO ONE greeted us. Not one person said hello. There was a woman sprawled on the couch and I naturally assumed that she was a customer. She asked me if we were waiting on a specific barber and I said no, so she just waved us to her chair. She didn’t ask my son’s name or even acknowledge him much. I told her what I wanted for the cut. Then I had to ask her name which turns out is Peggy. When she was done his hair was sticking straight up on the top in the crown area and blamed it on his double crown. I have never had a barber in 7 years do that to him. It was embarrassing. My son was also uncomfortable. As for the smell of sewage, I understand that there is being work done to the building which is obvious. I would have been happy with a smiling face, a nice greeting, and a decent cut. Will never be back. Oh, and if you do hair you for a living then taking care of your own is recommended.

Great place to get a haircut. Great staff! They will always try to finish the day out and give you the best service possible. There are a few negative comments or reviews that suggest otherwise and that is very sad that you had that kind of experience.

I was extremely disappointed to the point of tears. I went on a recommendation from a friend. The shop was dirty and smelled. An employee who we thought was a customer was sprawled out on the couch on his phone. I should have taken that as a sign to leave. The lady who get my sons hair cut every last curl out of his head. I said I wanted a trim so that it was out of his eyes. We left with no curls. And a very upset momma. I do not recommend them to anyone. Hair will grow back, but the experience will leave a negative impression.

If I could give this barbershop a zero I would. I see now why this barbershop moved to a different location and changed its name to try to lure new customers. The shop supposedly closes at 3pm but these barbers are so lazy that I showed up at 2:18pm and walked to the shop to see and hear one of the barbers tell a customer to lock the door while I was grabbing the door handle. These barbers dont want to make any money or value your business so take your money to a shop where they value you. As soon as I walked to my car another guy pulled up and they let him in the barbershop after locking the door on me. I’m new to the area and been to the shop 3x and got cut by different people cause the same barber is never there. I have seen them turn away several customers before 3pm during my little time there. If a business is not going to honor the time they area going to close the shop the change the closing time to 2pm since you locking doors and turning away customers way before closing time. Straight unprofessional!!! Have not been back since then and tell anyone else I know not to go or waste their time.
