Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityJen has been my stylist for about 6 years. Her hair cutting skills are first rate. She gives my fine hair volume and makes it quick and easy to style. No other stylist has brought my hair to life this way! Her colorist skills are just as impressive. I’ve gone from light blonde to a much darker blended ash blond, and each time the color is fantastic, lasts a ling time, and grows out nicely, which mattered a lot during covid! Jen is detail-oriented, she listens and reviews what you want very carefully before she proceeds. She is a lovely, very professional person and her individual, private salon is bright, comfortable and a very relaxing experience. Jen has been my stylist for about 6 years. Her hair cutting skills are first rate. She gives my fine hair volume and makes it quick and easy to style. No other stylist has brought my hair to life this way! Her colorist skills are just as impressive. I’ve gone from light blonde to a much darker blended ash blond, and each time the color is fantastic, lasts a ling time, and grows out nicely, which mattered a lot during covid! Jennifer was so professional, friendly, and skilled. I explained my hair challenges (signifiant damage from too much hair coloring in the past) and she delivered the perfect haircut!! She also showed me the products she used to make my hair look and feel perfect. Her decade of experience with AVEDA and her natural skill are truly evident. I couldn’t recommend her more!This was my first haircut following the pandemic shutdown, and I truly felt safe. You are only allowed to enter the facility after you call your stylist using the call box a the entrance of JC salons. She came to the entrance wearing a mask and armed with hand sanitizer which she dispensed into my hands and hers. It was a great experience from start to finish. After trying over ten salons in the DMV area in the last three years, I finally found my “Go-To” Stylist! Jennifer was so professional, friendly, and skilled. I explained my hair challenges (signifiant damage from too much hair coloring in the past) and she delivered the perfect haircut!! So when I found out that Jennifer carries this line at her Salon, I made a consultation appointment to stop by and she spent a good 30 minutes with me talking about the product and my hair. I have curly hair which drives me insane most of the time, but she gave me some really solid advice on how to style and treat it. Then, months later when I needed a color and cut, I thought of her and wanted to give her a try – and boy am I glad I did!First of all, it’s awesome to have a stylist all to yourself. There is no waiting in line while she does other folks hair in between mine. I had her undivided attention the entire time. During these unprecedented Covid times, it’s a lot safer than going to a large salon with several stylists and lot of patrons. Her space is really cute and very clean. It’s also just nice to build a rapport one on one with someone. Jennifer also really listened to what I wanted and we chatted together and came up with some really creative ideas.As you can see from the before and after pics, there is a dramatic difference. I walked in a frizzy mess, and left a healthy curl master! It’s different and unique and fun, all the while, healthier for my hair. So when I found out that Jennifer carries this line at her Salon, I made a consultation appointment to stop by and she spent a good 30 minutes with me talking about the product and my hair. Her knowledge of color and hair care is not only impressive but spot on as she walked me through what she was going to do to my hair and why – to achieve the color and style I wanted. She not only produced the results, but it came it out even better than I imagined! I really appreciate her transparency of the process as it prepares me fo the amount of time and work that needed to be done. She’s done various shades of light/medium blonde (including when I went platinum for a couple years) and my hair always turns out fantastic – healthy, shiny, and the color stays vibrant between salon visits. I have fairly high-maintenance color, so I see her on a regular basis and love the privacy from the single-chair setup in her new salon and the color products she uses (Kevin Murphy), which seem to extend the life of my color.
