Critical: ValueI went in to have my hair washed and blow dryed, along with an eyebrow wax. The hair service alone was $34.99 and I didn’t find that out until it was time to pay. I asked why it was so expensive for such a simple service when the prices online are cheaper for more extensive service. She mentioned, I don’t know, that’s the price. I looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged for a full style. I didn’t argue, I paid and left. [NOVEMBER] Hair cutting is subpar, I wouldn’t recommend this place to get hair cuts but may be the only place around. The hair cutting lady that cut my hair missed a spot and made hair in front uneven. I had to recut myself and I’m not sure if I did a good job but I tell you what, its better than paying 15 bucks for a bad hair cut… I would think twice about getting your hair cut here… [ADDED FEB] *PICTURES ADDED* I’m sure you can tell the B4 and after. I didn’t ask the lady to do this to my hair, I asked her to cut the hair around the obviously different lengths. I asked her to shave with a 1 or 2 sized card and IF the back was too high to blend the length together from front to back because I couldn’t see the back and I have cut my at some point and knew that I messed the line a couple months prior. I thought she knew what I meant, she responded “fade” concerning the length input from beginning conversation. Looks to me like she made the top too short, i didn’t say anything about cutting the top and she didn’t ask. Although I guess I could have said none off the top but I didn’t, she could have just as easily made 100% sure if the customer would be satisfied. I’m not one that can be objective, afraid of being rude or mean. I as of now will never be going back to a Smart Style again.
