This is a real barber shop — good haircuts, friendly banter, authentic setting, honest price.

Have patronized this shop for thirty- five years. Amiable, old style shop with a laid-back atmosphere. No gimics, no airs, just good barbers. Yep, it’ll cost you a little more than the chain shops but we’ll worth it.

Always happy with my cut, especially after going a few times to where the barbers got to know me. Usually a short wait if you time it right (not at lunch time or the end of their workday.) I don’t need all the extra furnishings if the cut is good and the price is reasonable. In, out, good haircut, on with my life. Thanks!

You get a cut and shave for $14! For a bearded man who needs a trim every once and a while, to have a beard trim included with the cut and shave for $14… yeah, it’s ridiculous! They are great and do an amazing job. I appreciate how Paul, Cindy and Hoyt run the shop.

Paul was great!! Got a good, quality haircut and had a great conversation. I’m very picky and was overspending At $29 a cut at some of these other barbers in the area. Don’t overspend like I did. Come to Suburban Barbershop and see Paul. The quality is top notch…You won’t regret it!!

I was looking for a no frills barber shop. All I received was disinterested customer service and an amateur haircut. II didn’t get a smile or even a thank you until I left a $5 tip (on a $14 cut).

The folks are super nice. However, I called before we went to make sure they could do a “lightening bolt design” and they said yes. They had no idea what they were doing and my sons ended up with two uneven shaky lines on either side of their head. No lightening bolt. Really terrible. I’m sure it would be a fine place for a normal hair cut but if they tell you they can do special kids’ cuts, they can’t.

A fantastic ‘no frills’ barber shop. When I say no frills I don’t mean to imply they perform less than good, quality haircuts because they do. My visits there have been great, personal and quality experiences for me. I don’t feel the need to go any place else. Great folks there.
